The water sector in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand is experiencing unprecedented growth driven by the criticality of serving our biggest cities and regions, climate change, sustainability priorities, and the increasing water demands of new industrial and digital infrastructure.

We’re seeing a surge in climate-resilient, circular economy solutions, and tackling these challenges requires collaboration across water utilities, state governments, and private sector partners, to deliver secure and sustainable water services.

At Aurecon, we work side by side with our clients to make a real impact in the communities where we live, work, and play. We’re looking for people ready to roll up their sleeves, contribute fresh ideas, and help deliver smarter, sustainable water solutions for the long term.

If you are passionate about tackling complex water problems – from designing and delivering critical infrastructure in water treatment and wastewater to adaptive planning – this is your opportunity to join us and shape the future of water services. We encourage water professionals from all experiences and career levels to apply.

We’re looking for the following skillsets:

  • Water systems planning
  • Water pipelines and conveyance system design and engineering
  • Water treatment systems design and engineering
  • Dams and water storage system design and engineering
  • Water recycling, reuse, resource recovery, and circular economy planning and systems
