We employ energy professionals who have worked with both private and public sector energy companies and utilities. We understand the technical and commercial demands facing the global energy market – increasing regulatory scrutiny, volatility in price and demand, and a growing demand for alternative energy sources. We bring this industry insight to bear in our technical service delivery.
We are able to quickly mobilise expertise across a variety of disciplines and sectors, including:
Our philosophy is to tailor a team to meet any project challenge, regardless of location, by drawing on experts from more than 40 specialisations across Aurecon.
Key services and skills include transmission line design, power system planning studies, all aspects of substation design, and asset management.
Highly respected in the energy industry, we are frequently engaged to carry out due diligence on large asset and network acquisitions and we act as advisers to asset owners and developers on a range of business issues.
Aurecon has an engineering and scientific facility located at the University of Newcastle, Australia, which has been providing services to asset owners, operators and maintainers of power and industrial plants for four decades. This facility provides valuable input and knowledge to our transmission and distribution team, providing our clients access to exceptional practical insights.
Many of our people actively collaborate with universities, present at industry conferences and belong to top engineering bodies such as CIGRE, a leading worldwide electric power systems organisation.
The transforming energy market is creating both risk and opportunity for the industry. How do you stay competitive against this backdrop? What are the most pressing risks for big energy consumers? And what does this mean for energy suppliers, power producers, new projects and government?
