The transition to renewables is well underway and happening right now. The question remains how fast can Australia collaborate and innovate to deliver at scale in the decade that matters the most?

Be part of a team working with network owners and operators, developers and contractors, to design and deliver transmission and distribution networks (the backbone of the transition); large scale, coordinated renewable (and transmission) zones; generation including on and offshore wind, solar and storage including big batteries (BESS), and pumped hydro (PHES); as well as green energy export plays.

We encourage all Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics professionals with experience across a range of disciplines (electrical, structural, civil, chemical, mechanical, industrial, digital) to apply.

We are looking for the following skillsets:

  • Power Systems Planning
  • Transmission and Distribution – Substations, Power Lines
  • Renewables generation – Solar, Onshore Wind, Offshore Wind, Hybrid
  • Storage & Firming – Battery Energy Storage Systems, Pumped Hydro Storage Systems
  • Hydrogen and derivatives production
  • Chemical conversion and process systems
  • Process systems balance of plant design (Industrial, Ground, Water, Mechanical, Electrical and Ports/Marine)
  • Industrial Systems, Structures and Mechanics
  • Energy related strategy, policy and techno economics
  • Environment & planning (land, ecology, and environment – assessment, planning, and approvals)
  • Engagement & change (stakeholder, government, community, business and social – strategy, communications, engagement, and change)

Meet Jheeno Olidar

Jheeno grew up in a small village in the Philippines with no access to water or electricity. Today, Jheeno is working on projects that will shape the future of energy in Australia. He is also there when the bell rings to pick up his two kids every day.

The culture of the team means Jheeno can mould his obligations to be where he needs to be in line with his work and family commitments.
