14 June 2018 The Jacobs Aurecon Joint Venture has congratulated the Lendlease Samsung Bouygues Joint Venture on being selected as the successful tenderer for the M4-M5 Link Main Tunnel Works package, which is part of the multi-billion dollar M4-M5 Link Project and Sydney’s wider WestConnex Program of Works.

The Jacobs Aurecon Joint Venture is proud to have prepared the civil and tunnel designs for the Lendlease Samsung Bouygues Joint Venture’s successful tender.

The M4-M5 Link Project in Sydney’s inner west is the final and most critical stage of the WestConnex motorway network.

The M4-M5 Link Main Tunnel Works package features twin mainline tunnels between the New M4 at Haberfield and the New M5 at St Peters.

There is also provision for a future connection to the next stage of the Project, being the Rozelle Interchange, which will provide connections to the CBD via the Anzac Bridge, to Victoria Road and to the future Western Harbour Tunnel and Beaches Link.

Each of the mainline tunnels will be nearly 7.5 kilometres long, the majority of which will be wide enough to accommodate four lanes of traffic in both directions from the Rozelle Interchange towards Haberfield and St Peters.

The Jacobs Aurecon Joint Venture looks forward to continuing its association with this iconic transport infrastructure project.

Our team is already providing multi-disciplinary engineering design services on the WestConnex Project for the New M5, which includes twin tunnels that more than double capacity along the M5 East corridor and provide motorway access to north of Sydney Airport.
