Ashley Grohn brings 20 years of experience as new Client Director for Energy

08 December 2017 - Ashley Grohn has been appointed as Client Director for Aurecon, covering the Energy market in Australasia.

Global engineering and infrastructure advisory company Aurecon places great emphasis on investing in leaders who are able to help its clients respond to the constantly shifting business landscape by offering innovative solutions closely aligned with clients’ needs, and backed by the technical expertise to deliver these solutions. 

With over 20 years’ experience in the energy sector globally, Grohn specialises in the identification, development and implementation of energy solutions for the Government and private sector and has been at the forefront of setting and implementing Aurecon’s energy business strategies, with great success. This success and vision has been shared across the company’s global business, as Grohn worked with major clients in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand and throughout Africa.  

Since joining Aurecon in 2000, Grohn has held a variety of roles, demonstrating consistent strength in liaising with clients to help identify and mitigate risks, helping them find and deliver solutions that not only address technical challenges, but also fulfill their vision and needs. 

Prior to his new appointment, Grohn led Aurecon’s renewable business in Australia, which followed his successful initiation and growth of the company’s power generation business line in Africa. In these roles, he was instrumental in growing the company’s business through energy advisory services and strengthening existing client relationships.
