The Alliance has recently completed the construction of the Stage 2 Richlands to Springfield Project, delivered to help reduce congestion on the Centenary Highway, potentially taking 2 500 cars off the road during peak traffic times. Key features of this project include a 9.5 kilometre dual track passenger rail line, two new stations, an integrated bus and rail interchange, seven rail bridges and more than seven kilometres of cycle pathways.
