TrackStar Alliance, Australia

Aurecon was part of a successful infrastructure delivery alliance

Established in 2006, TrackStar Alliance designed and constructed a series of rail infrastructure projects in South East Queensland.

TrackStar Alliance was an integrated infrastructure delivery business that harnessed the skills of four business partners: Queensland Rail, Thiess, Aurecon and AECOM. Projects include:

  • The Caboolture to Beerburrum Track Duplication
  • The Robina to Varsity Lakes Rail Extension
  • The Corinda to Darra Rail Upgrade
  • The Beerwah Rail Crossing

The Alliance completed the construction of the Stage 2 Richlands to Springfield Project, delivered to help reduce congestion on the Centenary Highway, taking 2500 cars off the road during peak traffic times.

Key features of this project included a 9.5 kilometre dual track passenger rail line, two new stations, an integrated bus and rail interchange, seven rail bridges and more than seven kilometres of cycle pathways.

Aurecon has won the following awards from this alliance:
