Established in 2006, TrackStar Alliance designed and constructed a series of rail infrastructure projects in South East Queensland.
This alliance provided integrated infrastructure delivery harnessing the skills of four business partners: Queensland Rail, Thiess, Aurecon and AECOM.

The alliance also completed the construction of the Stage 2 Richlands to Springfield Transport Corridor Project, delivered to help reduce congestion on the Centenary Highway, removing 2,500 cars off the road during peak traffic times.
Key features of this project included a 9.5 kilometre dual track passenger rail line, two new stations, an integrated bus and rail interchange, seven rail bridges and more than seven kilometres of cycle pathways.

Aurecon played an instrumental role in influencing the conceptual design of the Richlands to Springfield Transport Corridor, a 9.5 km dual track extension of the electrified passenger line in Brisbane.
Aurecon is transforming Sydney Harbour, replacing dredging with TBM tunnel engineering to deliver a faster, safer and more sustainable second harbour crossing.
Aurecon's expertise in tunnel systems helps design the replacement of the Burnley Tunnel's low-voltage cables to keep the city's busiest road links moving.
