The Great Place to Work™ certification program uses the Trust Model survey, an internationally recognised standard for evaluating employee experiences by comparing insights from workplaces globally.

“Our Philippine office is not only thriving but we’re also growing. We recognise that this growth is a direct result of the supportive environment we have cultivated over the years,” shares Sonny Bartido, Country Manager in the Philippines and Global Shared Services Leader.

Notably, 99% of Aurecon's employees attest that the company provides a remarkably safe working environment as the Philippine office recently expanded its team of on-site medical professionals to ensure swift attention to any potential health matters.

Furthermore, the company continues to prove its people-first culture with 98% of its employees reporting fair treatment regardless of gender or sexual orientation; and 98% also saying that they experience work-life balance at Aurecon.

"I'm very proud that our people have made thriving in a ‘great place to work’ a reality for us."

“Our first Great Place to Work certification last year was not only a huge milestone for us, but it was also a challenge for us to do more for our people. We are continually seeking ways to enhance the experience for our people in our office, and I’m excited to see how this nurturing culture will benefit our employees today and the future,” Bartido adds.

Aurecon has different programs to support its people’s growth and wellbeing such as the Thrive – Employee Assistance Program to give employees free counselling from licensed professionals; Limelight, a network for early career professionals; Leadership Foundations Program for aspiring business leaders; and the Engagement Committee for volunteers who wish to help improve the local office’s engagement activities, among many others.

In its efforts to improve inclusivity in the workplace, Aurecon’s recently launched the Aurecon Pride Philippines network and became the first engineering company to partner with the Philippine Financial and Inter-Industry Pride (PFIP). This collaboration aims to create a more inclusive environment for LGBTQIA+ colleagues.

“It's incredibly rewarding to witness how these initiatives are driving the results we envisioned. At Aurecon, we're not just building for the planet – we're creating rewarding career adventures. I'm very proud that our people have made thriving in a ‘great place to work’ a reality for us,” says Chief People Officer Liam Hayes.
