Asia Pacific engineering, design, and advisory company Aurecon exceeds its previous workplace performance, advancing to the 7th spot from the 13th place in 2024 in the medium-sized companies category in the Best Workplaces List in the Philippines for 2025.
This substantial improvement in ranking showcases the effectiveness of the company's focused initiatives in improving employee experience and workplace culture across its expanding Philippine operations.

Through a comprehensive survey and audit, the Best Workplace List identifies companies that excel in creating outstanding workplace environments. Aurecon brings this to life through initiatives that nurture talent, develop future leaders, and support employee wellbeing – creating an environment where people can thrive both professionally and personally.
As Aurecon grows its presence across the Philippines, the company has excelled in maintaining an exceptional workplace through key programs including Limelight, a network designed to open development opportunities for emerging career professionals; the Leadership Foundations Program, aimed at cultivating aspiring leaders within the company; and the wellbeing initiatives led by the Manila Engagement Committee.
This growth has not only expanded career opportunities but has also strengthened workplace connections, proving that business expansion and a thriving culture go hand in hand.
“In the past three years, Aurecon's growth in the Philippines has been driven by our belief that people are our greatest strength. Our culture and employee experience have played a crucial role in attracting talent, fostering an environment where our people can excel while supporting their wellbeing and personal aspirations,” shares Sonny Bartido, Country Manager in the Philippines and Global Shared Services Leader.
To further support employees, Aurecon is undertaking a significant office refit at its Philippine office in Metro Manila. The renovation, scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2025, features expanded shared spaces, enhanced technology infrastructure, and redesigned work areas that support both focused individual work and team collaboration.
Liam Hayes, Chief People Officer at Aurecon, emphasises that supporting our people directly elevates our client experience. He shares, “Our workplace culture is a continuous journey of listening, learning, and evolving. By putting our people first, we empower them to solve complex challenges and create innovative solutions that redefine what’s possible for our clients and our company.”
