Aurecon partners with Kinaway to support Victorian Indigenous communities
Aurecon’s approach to engaging with the Indigenous sector is to collaborate on long-term and social procurement activities with Indigenous people-owned businesses.
2 June 2022 – International design, engineering and advisory company Aurecon has announced its partnership with Kinaway Chamber of Commerce as the company’s latest initiative to support the economic and cultural development of Indigenous communities in Victoria.
Set to increase employment, enable better cultural connection and strengthen Aboriginal businesses’ capability, the partnership will see Aurecon work with and promote more Indigenous businesses, and foster networking and new business opportunities for them in the design, engineering and advisory practice.
Aurecon will be able to access Kinaway’s business portal and data, providing better support for joint causes and further improve Aurecon’s offerings to Indigenous communities and social procurement activities.
Jennifer Smith, Aurecon’s Managing Director for Victoria and South Australia welcomed the partnership and said, “Collaboration with Kinaway is an unmissable opportunity for Aurecon to connect with and bring value to our Victorian Indigenous communities.
