Asia Pacific engineering consultancy Aurecon is increasing its Engineering Workforce Credentialling (EWC) program with Engineers Australia to a national initiative, reinforcing its long-term investment in engineering excellence and strengthening professional standards across the industry.
The expanded agreement will see Aurecon extend Engineers Australia's Engineering Workforce Credentialling program nationally, providing structured support for engineers across Australia as they progress towards Chartered status.

The initiative builds on the success of an existing program in South Australia and Victoria and forms part of Aurecon's broader commitment to developing a highly skilled, professionally accredited engineering workforce capable of meeting Australia's growing infrastructure, energy and climate challenges.
Aurecon Chief Engineering, Eminence and Innovation Officer Tanya de Hoog said developing professionally accredited engineers is critical to delivering safe, high-quality engineering outcomes for clients and communities.
"Chartered engineers demonstrate recognised standards of competence, ethical practice and ongoing professional development. By expanding this program nationally – making Aurecon one of Engineers Australia’s largest membership and credentialing partners – we’re making it easier for our people to achieve these important professional milestones," de Hoog said.
“Investing in our people and our technical capability is important to us because quality underpins how we deliver, earn trust and we take personal pride in everything we do. At Aurecon, we bring our technical expertise and deep domain experience to engineer the right solutions for clients and this greater focus on quality means that we will bring even more of our sharpest thinking for our clients’ challenges.”

Engineers Australia Chief Executive Officer Romilly Madew AO said the expanded partnership reflects a shared commitment to building engineering capability across Australia.
"Supporting more engineers to achieve Chartered status strengthens the profession and helps ensure Australia has the engineering capability needed to deliver the nation's future infrastructure and innovation," Madew said.
"We're pleased to continue our partnership with Aurecon and support its engineers through every stage of their professional development."
