Asia Pacific design, engineering and advisory company Aurecon has welcomed Sean Treweek as Managing Director, Queensland, to drive business performance and strengthen Aurecon’s market leadership as the state prepares for a population and infrastructure boom over the coming decades.
At the helm of a 1000-strong workface across eight offices in Queensland, Sean Treweek will oversee business imperatives ranging from overarching strategy, financial management to project delivery and client engagement, governance and general management. Treweek said the strong growth outlook for Queensland, with an abundance of development opportunities, meant that Aurecon could play a key role in the state’s major transformation.

This creates a plethora of opportunities for engineers, designers and advisors in the fields of social and transport infrastructure, energy transition, and regional community development, not to mention infrastructure for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games,” said Treweek.
