Aurecon has announced Jodie Bricout and Steve Wilson as new Design Directors. The appointments reflect the company's aspiration to be the most sought-after Tier 1 engineering, design and advisory business by accelerating its technical mastery and design excellence.

Design Directors are Aurecon’s most eminent practitioners and represent the pinnacle of technical mastery within the company. They are the custodians of Aurecon’s design quality and are renowned and sought out by clients and colleagues alike for their technical excellence, impeccable delivery and their ability to make an impact.
Aurecon’s network of 14 Design Directors all play a strategic role in driving growth by using design excellence to solve clients’ most complex needs.

A globally recognised sustainability leader, Jodie Bricout has over two decades of professional experience working with industry, research and policymakers in Australia, Dubai and France.
Bricout has trained hundreds of professionals and worked with governments and businesses to develop circular economy projects and strategies. Working in partnership with Aurecon’s engineering and advisory experts she specialises in helping clients find pragmatic ways to thrive in a resource and carbon-constrained world.
Over the past two years Bricout has built Aurecon’s Circular Economy offering in the Sustainability and Climate Change team, supporting its broader sustainability in design efforts.
Steve Wilson is a leader and innovator in the fields of battery energy storage and hybrid power generation systems. His expertise supports a secure and reliable transition to a low-carbon future.
Wilson specialises in advisory, project definition, development, procurement and execution of standalone and hybrid renewable energy and storage projects. He provides technical oversight to large scale battery storage projects, analysis and strategic advice across the public and private sectors.
