The Triple ‘A’ Impact deal was signed in 2022 to bolster Aurecon’s environmental and sustainability capabilities.

This strategic move enables Aurecon to deliver comprehensive environmental and sustainability services by combining its expertise in sustainability, climate change, and planning with A&A's environmental impact assessment knowledge.

Based in Hong Kong, A&A offers a range of environmental and sustainability services and owns an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory for water and air quality testing. The partnership aims to help clients manage climate-related risks and improve sustainability performance in the growing Asia Pacific environmental consulting market, which is expected to see a 7.4 per cent compound annual growth rate from 2021 to 2028.

Jacky Leung, Director of Operations, Acuity & Acumen, Greater China said, “Being now part of the Aurecon Group, I can confirm that there is great synergy between us in terms of growth strategy, vision and brand values. I strongly believe this award will allow us to be well-positioned, and one step closer to our goal in helping clients prepare for a future that focuses on environmentally-friendly, sustainable, and resilient development.”

"Our strength lies in how our designers, engineers, scientists and advisors all work together to provide clients with integrated solutions. We work across industries. We work across asset types. And we place sustainability at the core of everything we do."

Megan Wheeldon, Hydrogen and Derivatives Leader, was a finalist for the Rising Star Award for her contribution to shaping Australia’s emerging hydrogen industry through her advice to governments, clients and national working groups to enable a sustainable transition as well as research and mentorship.

Aurecon’s Wetland Creation and Management for MTR Lok Ma Chau Spur Line project was also named a finalist for the Nature Positive Award for helping regenerate the 32-hectare Lok Ma Chau Ecological Enhancement Area to improve its biological diversity and ecological value.

Gleeson said these recognitions highlight Aurecon’s deep commitment to advancing its own and its clients’ sustainable transformation. “Our strength lies in how our designers, engineers, scientists and advisors all work together to provide clients with integrated solutions.
