28 August 2013 - Aurecon has appointed Jeroen Overbeek as Ports and Marine Leader, Asia, based in Singapore. Jeroen brings over 23 years of global experience in ports and marine design and construction projects.
“With Aurecon’s extensive experience in delivering major ports infrastructure projects across ANZ, Africa and the Middle East, this is a really exciting opportunity for me to lead the team in expanding our services in the Asian market and ensure our clients benefit from the wide experience and expertise Aurecon brings to ports and marine projects,” said Jeroen.
In his previous role as Director of Delta Marine Consultants, Jeroen led numerous design, advisory, tender and feasibility assessment projects across the Middle East and Asia, particularly Singapore. Jeroen has also published a series of international academic papers discussing port, jetty and concrete design, marine engineering, coastal infrastructure, and pile design method for marine and near – shore foundations.
