The top 12 company pages were voted for by LinkedIn users and administrators around the world, as the best examples of company pages that showcase the brand and connect with the target audience in a meaningful way.
This global recognition of Aurecon’s LinkedIn presence is a fantastic achievement, given the organisation’s Human Capital and Marketing & Communication teams only started using LinkedIn as an official communication channel less than twelve months ago.
In that time, Aurecon’s LinkedIn page has gained more than 13 000 followers and named one of the six companies most followed by graduates for recruitment in Australia.
Danielle Bond, Aurecon’s Head of Marketing & Communications, said the benefits of Aurecon’s LinkedIn presence were being realised in units right across the company.
“LinkedIn is proving invaluable in managing relationships with a multitude of stakeholders, with the company and our individual staff members able to maintain open, two way communication with contacts right around the globe,” Danielle said.
“LinkedIn is being incorporated into planning in many areas of the business and is an important business development tool, allowing us to stay in touch with clients and share our expertise with key audiences.
“We don’t just use LinkedIn to make company announcements. We make it about sharing anything from the achievements of our people to new thinking from our experts.”
Liam Hayes, Aurecon’s Human Capital Leader ANZ & Asia, said LinkedIn is an invaluable engagement tool to maintain contact with employees - present, past and future.
“We are seeing great results in using LinkedIn as a recruitment channel and, earlier this year, we were named one of the six most visited LinkedIn pages by graduate recruits in Australia,” Liam said.
“It is also helping with our employer brand, providing a global platform to engage with past Aurecon employees who have moved elsewhere, as well as present staff and those who may have an interest in working with us.”
