Located along the Marina Bay waterfront, Marina Bay Sands features three cascading hotel towers topped by an extraordinary sky park, 'floating' crystal pavilions, a lotus-inspired museum, retail stores featuring cutting-edge labels and international luxury brands, trendy restaurants, theatres, night clubs, and a Las Vegas-style casino.
It also boasts extensive Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) facilities featuring state-of-the-art technology, highly flexible exhibition halls, and a convention centre that can host thousands of delegates.
Since its opening in 2010, the mega-development has attracted an endless stream of visitors. In order to stay fresh, contemporary and competitive, the development has been undergoing an asset renewal programme, which will comprise upgrading, alteration and refurbishment works.
Aurecon has been a part of the team helping Marina Bay Sands with its asset renewal programme specifically in the development’s gaming areas, guestrooms, hotels, retail mall, food and beverage outlets and its back-of-house areas like ICT rooms. Aurecon was responsible for providing all mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP), lighting design, and structural engineering services.
Of note, Aurecon also provided design consultancy for technically complex areas like computer rooms and gaming floors.
