Passionate about developing the next generation of project managers, Reynolds has taken on career coach and mentoring roles for a number of emerging professionals working within the defence sector.

“Whenever I get the opportunity, I like to use my platform and experience to provide the next generation with exposure to the defence industry, to support their career goals and show them how rewarding a career working within this space can be,” Reynolds said.

“I am also passionate about demonstrating that there are many ways to achieve your goals and to not give up if you haven’t taken what is considered a traditional approach to establishing and progressing your career. Despite not having completed a bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management, through hard work and dedication I have been able to develop a high level of technical competence through my first-hand experience working on Defence projects and delivering meaningful outcomes for my clients which has been recognised through promotions to senior management positions within Aurecon.”

Reynolds was also credited for her participation in the Aurecon Defence Training and Accreditation Program and imparting knowledge and skills to other participants through informal mentoring.

As the successful 2024 AIDN SA Young Achiever Award Winner, Reynolds will go on to compete at the National Gala Dinner in Canberra in 2025 for the national title.
