Aurecon has received the prestigious Most Popular Engineering and Resources Employer Award at the Australian Financial Review’s Top 100 Graduate Employers awards in Sydney.

Awards are determined based on the number of Australian university students who demonstrate interest in an employer on the GradConnection site, together with the employer that receives the most applications

15 February 2019 – Global engineering and infrastructure advisory company Aurecon has received the prestigious 'Most Popular Engineering and Resources Employer' Award at the Australian Financial Review’s Top 100 Graduate Employers awards in Sydney.

Awards are determined based on the number of Australian university students that apply for advertised positions with an employer on the GradConnection site. The premier graduate employer brand awards are presented in conjunction with GradConnection, Australia’s most respected graduate employment jobs and information website.

Aurecon Chief People Officer Liam Hayes said this was a significant win for Aurecon in the incredibly competitive graduate recruitment market.

“To be named at the top of our industry amongst our competitors – and ranked 18th overall from across all industries – verifies that university students regard Aurecon as one of their employers of choice in the ANZ region and want to be a part of the exciting journey we’re on,” said Liam.

“We’re delighted that our #unconventional graduate recruitment campaign is helping us attract the best emerging professional talent the market has to offer."

Our 2019 graduate and internship programme applications are now open across Australia and New Zealand. We invite any interested candidates to find out more and apply HERE.

In 2019, Aurecon will recruit approximately 140 graduate students across Australia and New Zealand from the mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, chemical/process, environmental and geotechnical engineering streams, as well as project management, surveying, and planning degrees.

In addition, Aurecon is currently recruiting emerging and intermediate advisory professionals to support its rapidly growing Advisory business that achieved 29 per cent revenue growth in 2018. These are not graduate appointments but are early-career practitioners with degree qualifications in commerce, economics, finance, business, engineering or similar disciplines.
