Aurecon recognised as one of Australia and New Zealand's Best Places to Work

Aurecon is Australasia

We’re proud to be the only engineering company listed in the AFR Best Places to Work list

21 April 2021 – International engineering, design and advisory company Aurecon was recognised as one of Australia and New Zealand’s Best Places to Work 2021 by the Australian Financial Review.

Aurecon was the only engineering, design and advisory firm to rank in the Top 10 Professional Services Companies list and was shortlisted for their Careers Reimagined strategy comprising tools, learning and events to support people in navigating their own career journeys.

The Best Places to Work 2021 Award follows Aurecon’s 2020 Australian Financial Review Most Innovative Company, Most Innovative Professional Services Company and Best Social impact Innovation wins.

Aurecon Chief Executive Officer William Cox believes that being recognised for both innovation and workplace excellence is no coincidence.

“Winning these awards after such a turbulent year is a testament to our remarkable people and how they feel about working at Aurecon. We know that they value our culture of innovation and respect, and the awards reinforce that we’re doing something right.”

Aurecon has a long track record of creating an innovative workplace culture that supports and promotes flexibility, equality and wellbeing.

"By recruiting and inspiring a diverse workforce, we’re able to create an inclusive, high-performing culture where everyone can be their full authentic selves. This award shows that our diversity of thought drives innovative solutions that benefits our people, clients and the communities we serve," added Louise Adams, Chief Executive, Australia & New Zealand.

The AFR BOSS Best Places to Work awards are underpinned by a rigorous methodology provided by leading behavioural science consultancy, Inventium. It is designed to assess the ten key factors that are critical to employees feeling motivated and engaged at work and recognises companies based in Australia and New Zealand who create a brilliant workplace.
