August 2013 - Carl Devereux has been appointed Aurecon’s new Christchurch Office Manager.
Carl joined Aurecon in 2004 as a Technical Director and has over 17 years’ experience of structural and civil projects with a particular focus on building structures and seismic engineering.
He has had substantial involvement in the emergency response and recovery following the Canterbury earthquakes and continues to provide technical advice to the New Zealand Government and building owners on all aspects of earthquake damaged and earthquake risk buildings.
He is highly regarded and very well respected, particularly for his work with USAR (Urban Search & Rescue) and CERA (Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority).
Through recent secondments into client organisations (including being the lead engineer for the Significant Buildings Unit for CERA) Carl has developed an in depth understanding of the local Christchurch market.
With world class local expertise backed by global depth, Carl is both excited and honoured that he will be leading our Christchurch team in driving market leading solutions for our clients that are delivered on time and on budget, without fail.
