– Winner: Young Project Professional of the Year
Master Project Manager, Zara O’Shea was instrumental in delivering Aurecon’s relocation and fitout design for the company’s new Brisbane office at 25 King St. The project was a unique professional development opportunity for Zara to master her craft; an opportunity not usually offered until later in a young project manager’s career.
Zara excelled in her lead role and demonstrated maturity and sound decision-making capabilities well beyond her years of experience. A human-centred design approach to management was critical and she focused strongly on maintaining the satisfaction of both Aurecon’s client and the end users of the building. The feedback received from her colleagues and client representatives on her performance consistently reinforces her strong technical and communication skills, as well as her straightforward and honest working style.
