The annual list of Most Innovative companies, published by The Australian Financial Review and Boss magazine, is based on a rigorous assessment process managed by leading innovation consultancy Inventium. In 2019, organisations were ranked directly against their peers across 10 industry lists, which assessed entries from over 800 nominated organisations.
Aurecon ranked #4 for Professional Services; recognised for its OpenGATE AutoDraw innovation, which uses computational design and machine learning to create automated digital drawings within the building information modelling (BIM) environment. The tool drives greater speed, accuracy and enables higher quality responses to design challenges.
Internationally, Aurecon was ranked #39 in the Engineering News-Record (ENR) Top 225 International Design Firm list for 2019. Firms are ranked based on revenue generated from projects outside their home countries, measuring their presence in the international design landscape. Aurecon also placed in the top 10 for the manufacturing sector list.
