What Engineering = Humanity means to me:
It would be very easy for people to go about their daily lives not realising how engineering has an impact on how they live. When I first joined Aurecon 17 years ago I was one of those people. What I have learnt over the past 17 years is how crucial engineering has been, and is, to solving some of the world’s most complex challenges.
By thinking unconventionally, engineering solutions improve and enhance our lives. Whether it be through providing clean water for people to drink, a road to connect people to employment opportunities or energy to cook food, Engineering = Humanity is about continually improving the quality of living for current and future generations. Engineering = Humanity means caring about making a difference that matters.
