The ‘Art of Community’ initiative is an action plan, comprising a wide range of activities, aimed at bringing more Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples into the world of engineering.

The initiative focusses on improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representation in Aurecon, not only as part of the Company’s diversity ambitions, but also in recognition of its Indigenous Australian clients.

With this initiative, Aurecon displayed exceptional leadership in promoting collaboration among members of the engineering related industry and throughout the education chain, to provide meaningful employment pathways and promote cultural recognition for Indigenous Australians.

The award recognises Aurecon’s support for Indigenous Australians.
