Completed at the beginning of 2017, the ambitious R2.5 billion Menlyn Park Shopping Centre expansion is currently the largest mall in Africa. Its size, amenities and design make it a world-class shopping destination.
Aurecon provided structural, civil and mechanical engineering and Environmentally Sustainable Design services for both Phase 1 and Phase 2.
The collaborative effort between the developer, professional team and contractors resulted in a building that delights occupants and visitors, is resource efficient and offers environmental protection and increased ecological value.
Like a lively ants’ colony in its natural habitat, we can view the development as bustling, interconnecting tunnels between places of work and social interaction.
