Esri, the global leader in spatial analytics and geographic information system (GIS) software presented Aurecon with a Special Achievement in GIS Award at the 2017 SAG Award ceremony held at its annual international user conference in San Diego, California.

Selected from over 300 000 eligible candidates, Aurecon received the award for its innovative application of technology, data collection, geospatial information visualisation, and thought leadership through GIS software. The Special Achievement in GIS Award recognises exemplary organisations implementing spatial analytics technology to change the world.
