Stephane Asselin, Chief Executive, Asia

Stephane Asselin is Aurecon's Chief Executive for Asia and is responsible for accelerating growth and fully leveraging value for Aurecon’s clients in this fast-growing region.

He will oversee all commercial operations with a focus on driving new business and continuing the offering of digital engineering and advisory services to clients.

A senior and experienced commercial leader, Stephane has spent over half of his 25-year career living and working in Asia. He has a proven track record in delivering business outcomes and developing a strong talent base focused on executing strategy.

Previously, he served at executive level with a range of engineering, environment and architectural consultancies, including as the Executive Vice President for Southeast Asia at AECOM. He also led AECOM Environmental Business Line in Asia-Pacific. More recently, he held several senior advisory roles across Canada and Asia.

With a passion for the infrastructure, marine, water, energy, and environmental sectors, Stephane has worked on projects across Asia as well as in North America, Europe and the Middle East. Some of his most recent experiences include helping Vietnam-based Atlas Industries in their expansion into the North American market, and with Canadian government-owned company Société du Plan Nord, where he led their infrastructure and environmental spending programs.
