Aurecon affirms its commitment to integrity and ethical business practices
- Aurecon refutes the allegation of impropriety in the eNCA broadcast on 23 November 2019 regarding our contract with the City of Tshwane to provide project and programme advisory services to optimise its property portfolio.
- We affirm our commitment to acting with integrity and honesty and we uphold this through our Code of Conduct and Ethics.
In April 2018, the City of Tshwane appointed Aurecon to deliver services to assess the City’s property portfolio and recommend options for optimisation. The appointment was through a competitive procurement process including a formal, compulsory briefing meeting conducted by the City of Tshwane in February 2018. The contract was awarded to Aurecon as the qualifying bidder with the lowest price.
Work commenced immediately at the request of the City of Tshwane and payments received were based on agreed deliverables.
We welcome the fact that these allegations are now investigated by our client and we are providing our full cooperation to this process.
