Aurecon was appointed by Pelabuhan Indonesia II to perform a feasibility study for Coal Blending Facility at Bojonegara Port. Increasing demand for electricity supplied by Coal Fired Power Plant (CFPP) and the different ranks of coal existing in Indonesia has made it necessary for a coal blending facility that can supply and produce quality coal specified by clients or consumers.

Pelindo II plans to develop a coal blending facility and national coal stockpile at Bojonegara, Banten province to supply blended coal to power plants in Indonesia, especially those owned and operated by National Electricity Company (PLN).

The objective of this feasibility study is to consider all factors associated with the project and determine if the investment for this blending facility will yield a desirable result for the owner.
