The project comprised new office space, lecture rooms, an administration block and a library which are housed in four separate buildings connected by external walkways on all levels. A new 250-seat auditorium was also constructed as part of the project.
The building was designed to be broadly organised around a public space on the ground floor, encompassing lecture halls that open onto landscaped courtyards.
The new building offers students a state-of-the-art facility which is capable of facilitating education of the highest quality.
The new Law Building has won three national and international awards for architecture, including:
Pretoria Institute of Architects Merit Award, 2005
South African Institute of Architects Merit Award, 2006
