Similarly, at Aurecon, one of our key values is that we work towards building a vibrant and brighter future for all and are committed to investing and allocating resources to aid development and improve the quality of life of in the communities in which we live and work.
In a bid to demonstrate our deep commitment to caring for our communities, we have taken a decision to be one of the sponsors of the Impumelelo gala celebration, taking place on 1 December at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town, South Africa.
“Aurecon aims to set the industry standard in supporting not only poor communities in South Africa, but also globally, and its contribution to this event reflects its philosophy of giving back to communities,” comments Yvonne Muthien, Strategic Equity Partner at Aurecon and Chairperson, Sasol Inzalo Foundation.
“Impumelelo has become the country’s social innovations hub. Aurecon is proud to be associated with its public upliftment endeavours,” adds Ferdi Nell, Aurecon’s Office Manager, Cape Town.
He adds: “Social innovation has the power to make a real and sustainable difference in the lives of needy and underprivileged communities in South Africa, and it’s our privilege to help champion this cause.”
