Aurecon’s sustainability journey continues to progress with significant momentum. As members of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Gold Community we remain committed and energised to shape the future of sustainability.
It is, therefore, our pleasure to introduce the company’s fourth annual Sustainability Report. Moving to a digital reporting format, we highlight the many ways in which we are continuing to support the environment, promote meaningful engagement with all of our stakeholders, ensure continued transparency across all corporate governance structures and sharpen our focus on fostering diversity, as well as developing a culture of health and safety.
Extending over the financial period, 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016, our reporting covers Aurecon’s operations and activities worldwide, with a particular focus on the company’s two largest regions of operations, Australia/New Zealand and South Africa. The reporting is aligned to the principles of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4 Framework Core Option. Following the launch of the new, modular suite of GRI Standards in October 2016, we have already commenced transitioning to apply the new Standards where possible.
Aurecon’s leadership remain committed to growing a sustainable business at all levels across the company for the benefit of all our stakeholders. We, therefore, invite you all to be part of Aurecon’s sustainability journey.
Should you have any feedback concerning our sustainability reporting, you are welcome to contact our Head of Quality, Environment and Sustainability, Sonja de Klerk via email: email@example.com
We are a member of the GRI Gold community and support the mission of the GRI to empower decision makers everywhere, through GRI sustainably reporting standards and its multi-stakeholder network, to take action towards a more sustainable economy and world.
