18 November 2016 - Experts from Aurecon will be sharing insights and clever thinking with industry peers at the Small Bridges, and Earth Structures & Retention conferences that are being held simultaneously at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground on 23-24 November.
The event will bring together councils, state government road managers, railways, government agencies and the private sector over a two day programme that will provoke discussion around issues such as design innovation, condition assessment, asset management and bridge code changes.
A strong contingent of Aurecon experts will take centre stage at the Small Bridges conference to discuss construction challenges, retaining walls and laser survey inspections.
Technical advice, as well as numerous case studies will be shared at the Earth Structures and Retention conference.
Bridges Leader NSW, Ken O’Neill, who will be will be presenting around the retaining walls for new cultural landmark, The Cutaway, at Barangaroo Reserve in Sydney, says that that this is a valuable opportunity to share expertise, and knowledge with industry peers.
“We see this as a great opportunity to share some of the innovative projects we have delivered to our clients in the past twelve months with the wider industry and learn about the latest industry trends in bridge and ground engineering design”, said Ken.
