Infrastructure Australia supplement

29 April 2013 - The annual infrastructure supplement accompanying this month’s Engineers Australia magazine contains a great article from two of our people looking at how we, as technical professionals, can support our clients in today’s “capital-lite” environment.

In this article, Matt Coetzee, our Urbanisation Competency Leader, and Steve Richards, Technical Director in Environment and Advisory services, highlight two strategic approaches that we can adopt to support clients looking to build financial and operational resilience in tough market conditions: (1) “Sweating the asset and identifying strategic gems” and (2) “Land value uplift”, a concept which incorporates the traditional planning aspects with consideration of the funding issues to make the best decisions around infrastructure development.
