People, places and dynamic accessible stations

Ben Vardon

5 October 2012 - Aurecon’s Ben Vardon is speaking alongside a host of transport experts at the Australian Institute of Traffic Planning and Management National Conference 2012, taking place in Sydney on 9-11 October.

Ben will talk about how the Corridor Access and Mobility Study (CAMS) done around the ‘game changing” public transport initiative -the Gold Coast Rapid Transit (GCRT)project - will contribute to the success of the stations and the overall project.

The Australian Institute of Traffic Planning and Management (AITPM) aims to advance traffic planning and management and acts as a forum for members to share and increase their knowledge, exchange research and ideas and provide a central point of reference for practitioners. Aurecon is proud to support AITPM as a National Sponsor.

Themed the Traffic and Transport Merry Go Round, this years’ conference will focus on long term transport planning for increases in travel demand and maintaining mobility expectations as urban densities increase in our cities, while facing the ever-present challenge of short-term political cycles at all levels of government.

Topic: Trams and CAMS – accessing the Gold Coast rapid transit
Presenter: Ben Vardon, Senior Transport Planner, Transport Services
Session 3b, Transport Planning
Date: 11 October 2012
Time: 9.00am – 10.15am
