19 March 2012 - Professional Management Review (PMR), a leading South African management journal, recently conducted its 2012 annual, national survey on consulting engineers in South Africa. Apart from again achieving six awards, Aurecon was also the highest rated in two categories this year.
“This is an outstanding achievement as the PMR awards are well known and highly recognised in industry. These PMR awards remain a very good measure of our reputation and acknowledgement in the market for technical excellence and brand awareness,” says Albert Geldenhuys, Aurecon’s Managing Director, South Africa.
The survey entailed interviews being carried out telephonically by the journal with 125 associated key decision-makers/professionals from the construction industry, including contractors, developers, architects and quantity surveyors, and sees consulting engineers rated across a range of 13 attributes, including:
The ratings, which are based on the perceptions of the respondents, are published according to the following consulting engineering sectors: Civil Consulting Engineers, Structural Consulting Engineers, Combined Civil and Structural Consulting Engineers, Electrical Consulting Engineers, Mechanical Consulting Engineers, Combined Electrical and Mechanical Consulting Engineers.
