Aurecon appoints Chief Executive Officer of the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) as its Manager, South Africa Offices
01 October 2011 - Global engineering, management and specialist technical services group Aurecon has appointed Mr Ronnie Khoza as its Manager, South Africa Offices.
Ronnie is no stranger to Aurecon, having served as a Director at one of Aurecon’s heritage companies from 1999 – 2003.
Ronnie is the Chief Executive Officer of the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), which is part of the National Department of Public Works. As a public entity, the CIDB was established to provide strategic leadership to the Construction Industry, as well as regulate it. In his tenure at the CIDB, Ronnie helped grow its reputation exponentially.
“Ronnie’s invaluable industry experience means that he brings to the table a unique understanding of what our industry requires from an engineering company in terms of service delivery,” comments Aurecon’s Managing Director, South Africa, Albert Geldenhuys. “Coupled to this, his rich experience in diverse management roles at a variety of firms means that he is ideally positioned to manage, coordinate and oversee the effectiveness and efficiency of our RSA Offices.”
