16 March 2010 - Exactly a year ago, the merger of three leading engineering consultancies, Africon, Connell Wagner and Ninham Shand, signalled the birth of a new global group.
A three-way global merger has meant Aurecon has significant capacity and skills in a range of market sectors and a global footprint spanning many countries. The merger allows us to offer our clients intimate local knowledge combined with global expertise. This knowledge exists through the powerful synergies the merger created, increasing our capacity to optimally utilise all of the opportunities in our market environment.
Our brand captures the ethos and direction of a new global group which have provided engineering, management and specialist technical services in over 70 countries. “Aurecon represents a reinvigorated culture with an expanded service offering and a considered focus on our clients and how we deliver value,” explains CEO Paul Hardy, going on to say that there is great power in shared purpose and values across a global company. In addition, Aurecon’s business model focuses on tailoring the best Aurecon team across sectors, expertise (competencies) and geographies to engineer project success. This approach is perfectly captured in our vision of being: Leading. Vibrant. Global.
"Clients have been extremely positive about the new group and what it represents – a winning combination of resources to enhance every projects we work on, regardless of location," states Paul, going on to say "We have enhanced our ability to respond to market opportunities using the leverage of an expanded footprint, capabilities and skills to satisfy client needs."
"We will continue to demonstrate to our clients that our emphasis on fostering human achievement will have a real and measurable impact on the way our services can support their business objectives. Together, we will have a positive impact on the communities in which we live and work," concludes Paul.
