Reporting to the Global CEO and a member of the Executive Committee, Kourosh heads up Design, Innovation and Eminence at Aurecon. In this role, he provides leadership, deep insight and professional passion towards mobilising company-wide expertise to solve the critical and complex problems our clients face, and has a focus on company-wide innovation. In doing so, Kourosh gives the company’s technical experts a voice at the main table.
With a career spanning over 25 years, Kourosh has played key roles in the design and delivery of many innovative, complex and award-winning projects across the globe. His project portfolio includes Wembley Stadium in London; Sydney Olympics Hockey Stadium; Melbourne Star Observation Wheel; and Liberty Place and 5 Martin Place in Sydney, amongst many others.
Kourosh was named one of the Top 100 most influential engineers by Engineers Australia in 2009 and was recognised with the John Connell Gold Medal Award by the Engineers Australia - Structural College Awards in 2016.
