Professor Kourosh Kayvani – Global Sports Leader
Professor Kourosh is Aurecon’s Global Building Structures Leader who has, during his 25 year career, played key roles in the design of many innovative and award winning structures, including many sports stadia. He was the lead designer and project leader of the iconic arch and roof of Wembley Stadium in London, as well as senior design engineer on a number of sports facilities for the Sydney 2000 Olympics, and involved on a number of stadia used for the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games.

John Hainsworth – Building Information Modelling (BIM)
John is one of Australia’s leading BIM experts. A structural engineer with more than 25 years’ of experience, he has spent the last 13 years specialising in 3D and BIM delivery. John recently joined Aurecon to lead its BIM team within the Building Services group.

Peter Mathieson – Environmental modelling and sustainable design
With vast experience, Peter is a modelling and sustainable design specialist, with experience in daylighting design and technology, productivity analysis and post occupancy evaluation. Peter's specialty is in the design of buildings for improved indoor environmental quality.

Stephen Logan – Mechanical
Stephen is a building sciences expert with over two decades of experience in designing solutions that delivers complex operational requirements whilst striving to achieve great architecture, engineering and of course, great spaces.

Ben Hattersley – Security
Ben has been involved in the security industry for a period exceeding 20 years and has demonstrated expertise in security operations management, security risk management and security management consulting. He specialises in the design of targeted security strategies that align with the strategic objectives of both public and private sector client organisations.

Mark Sheldon – Structures
Mark has, for over 30 years’ experience in the specialised design of stadia and leisure-related projects both in Australia and internationally. This experience has been ‘hands-on’, with him spending approximately five years full-time on the Melbourne Cricket Grounds, and approximately four and a half years on Etihad Stadium. He is currently Project Director on the design of extensions to the Melbourne Park tennis centre.

Matt Magraith – Electrical
With more than 18 years’ experience within Aurecon and the construction industry, Matt has extensive experience leading multi-discipline projects. His major projects include commercial buildings/workplaces, airports, data centres, retail precincts and stadia. Matt's key role lies in project leadership across all disciplines of building engineering, with particular interest in building innovation, automation, lighting and sustainable design.

Neil MacKenzie – Acoustic and wind modelling
Neil has more than 20 years’ of professional engineering experience across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the Middle East. He is leading the development of the acoustics and vibration discipline within Aurecon across all regions and markets and has specialist engineering skills associated with audio-visual, air quality and wind engineering.
