Geoff du Toit is a professional engineer based in Aurecon's purification division in Cape Town.
He has eight years of design and project experience with Aurecon in the South African municipal potable water treatment industry. He has designed and commissioned numerous water treatment works and specialises in the coordination of multidisciplinary water treatment projects. He obtained his Master’s Degree from the Water Research Group at the University of Cape Town under the direction of Professor George Ekama where he modelled the steady state performance of activated sludge with membranes for solid liquid separation. Geoff has also worked in the North American wastewater treatment industry with postings in Canada and the United States.
