Andrew Tanner is a Professional Civil Engineer with more than 25 years’ experience in the water sector, covering many technical fields.
These include strategic planning, integrated water resources management, institutional reform, catchment management, water resource planning, and design and construction supervision for infrastructure development.
His experience covers the full spectrum of water services from identification and development of water resources, water resources management through to bulk infrastructure and final delivery of water to the consumer.
Andrew has served in a senior management role on many multi-disciplinary water resource projects over for the past 20 years with a particular focus on shared river basins either as the project manager, study leader or project director. Nearly all of his experience has been gained in Africa, with 36 years’ worth of experience working in South Africa, Lesotho and other Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries.
