On the job learning provides you with the opportunity to apply your current skills and develop new skills and knowledge in a ‘real time’ learning environment. This allows you to be challenged in a variety of aspects of your personal and professional development.
Coaching and mentoring
To support your professional development at Aurecon you will have a people manager who will support you in your performance and development process. This involves, goal setting, person development planning, and providing you with the development coaching to set you up for success.
Classroom, virtual and online
Aurecon provides technical and non technical learning through virtual knowledge sharing sessions, online learning, and face-to-face classroom learning to meet your immediate development goals, functional role requirements, and client and project needs.
Aurecon recognises the importance of accessing best practice external programmes and study to complement the commercial, technical and non technical learning experiences offered in-house, and to meet client and project requirements. We support employees financially and provide study leave to undertake approved studies to meet immediate to medium and longer term professional development and business needs.

Foundations of Leadership Programme
Our Foundations of Leadership Programme provides an opportunity for future leaders to take the next step in the development process with their peers. The programme establishes the foundations of effective leadership and includes self development and a business, client and people skills component, to enable the delivery of the best results for our clients.
Leadership Development Programme
The Leadership Development Programme provides further development opportunities for our future leaders. This programme is designed to develop and enhance leadership capability through higher levels of self awareness, increased business, client and people skills by provide tools for motivating self and teams and managing for results for Aurecon and our clients.
