National Association of Women in Construction award winners

NAWIC Award winners

09 December 2014 - The strength of diversity and inclusion within Aurecon’s culture and operations has been recognised with a number of national industry awards in Australia and New Zealand in recent months.

The awards highlighted the success of some of our cultural and gender initiatives in particular.

Anthony McCusker, Acting Chief Executive Officer, said the awards were not just the result of robust diversity initiatives, but most importantly of Aurecon’s people so openly living the organisation’s values – We respect others by celebrating diversity and acting with integrity and honesty.

“Aurecon is made up of 7 500 people who come from every walk of life, working collaboratively all over the globe, so fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace is core to what we do,” Anthony said.

“We see the diversity of our people as a strength, and we embrace the insights and values that stem from these diverse backgrounds.”

“Our focus on diversity and inclusion extends beyond just our offices and our own people. We also invest both time and money in important initiatives to support diversity and inclusion within our communities, and collaborate with our clients and partners to ensure best practice across our industry.”
