Aurecon shares integrated transport solutions at AITPM conference

Aurecon exhibition booth at the Australian Institute of Traffic Planning and Management Incorporated National Conference

13 August 2014 - Aurecon’s transport planners and engineers will be sharing insights on integrated transport solutions at the AITPM (Australian Institute of Traffic Planning and Management Incorporated) National Conference being held in Adelaide from 12-15 August 2014.

The AITPM conference will focus on encompassing the whole of life cycle and applying a network approach to traffic and transport.

“Understanding how city networks operate, and establishing functional linkages between city centres and urban developments, requires an integrated transport and land use approach to achieve sustainable outcomes,” Aurecon Senior Transport Engineer Antony Johnstone said.

“As part of our HUB-id philosophy at Aurecon, our approach starts from the point of parallel integration instead of the conventional approach of using experts from different disciplines in series,” Antony said.
