24 July 2013 - To better respond to transportation infrastructure developments in Hong Kong and across Asia, Aurecon is leveraging global experience and talent by relocating major highway project specialist, Graeme Smith to Hong Kong in July.
Graeme has 15 years of civil engineering design management experience delivering high value multi-disciplinary transportation infrastructure projects in London, Melbourne, Auckland, Adelaide and Doha.
For the past two and a half years, he was the client side Engineering Project Leader for Aurecon’s ongoing commission within the Programme Management Consultancy delivering the network of 32 expressway projects in Doha, Qatar.
Smith said: “I am looking forward to helping our clients achieve their goals for transport infrastructure development and delivery in Hong Kong and Asia. By leveraging our local expertise and skills base with our global network Aurecon can provide high quality service, and all levels of major project design expertise from conceptual planning and strategy through to construction and completion.”
Graeme is a Technical Director of Aurecon and has worked on the delivery of major highway infrastructure projects in Qatar, Australia, New Zealand and the UK. He has strong experience in D&C delivery for contractors including as the design manager for the Hobsonville Deviation motorway design and construct project in Auckland.
