This approach incorporates the process plant design into the study as one of several specialist packages including power plants, transport, accommodation and water that will drive more accurate project costing.

The workshop will cover:

  1. The rising cost of infrastructure and why it is occurring
  2. The implications and challenges in developing new mine development projects
  3. Supply chain infrastructure planning
  4. Integrated approach for mine development
  5. Enterprise wide project planning

  7. Statutory planning and approvals
  8. Engineering approaches to developments
  9. Asset management

Brad said: “Benefits for clients adopting mine feasibility studies led by enabling infrastructure will include reduced and more certain project costs, lower requirements for electricity and water, leading to more sustainable mines, and staged delivery of infrastructure in line with more accurate project lifecycle scheduling.”

The Mine Operations Summit focuses on enhancing productivity through operational excellent. It will take place at the Shangri-La Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia, from 25 -28 June 2012.
