New appointment strengthens WA presence in resources industry

24 July 2012 - Aurecon has appointed Joe Petracca as Development Leader for Western Australia.

Joe has worked extensively in the mining and resources industry, predominantly in the iron ore sector. His roles include work for BHP Billiton Iron Ore and Rio Tinto Iron Ore in technical and project management roles and Amec Construction and WorleyParsons in business development. 

With strong leadership skills and a sound understanding of the resources industry, Joe’s focus will be on developing and supporting the organisation’s key client offering and bringing Aurecon’s fresh thinking to major project delivery.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia. His background spans engineering, project and commercial management in the consulting, feasibility study, and project delivery environment and includes construction and commissioning management.
