Aurecon’s biomass and solar energy expert to present at All Energy Australia conference

07 October 2011 - Amir Tadros, PhD, a biomass and solar energy expert from Aurecon will be speaking at this year’s ‘All Energy Australia 2011’ conference, at Melbourne’s Convention and Exhibition Centre from 12 - 13 October.

The conference will discuss clean energy and highlight key issues facing the energy industry in Australia today.

Amir, who is a guest speaker at the conference, will present his findings on biomass options for coal fired boilers. He will also co-present on concentrated solar power hybrid plants (CSP) titled “Concentrated solar power hybrid plants: a  more cost effective way to introduce solar power to the electricity market?” which is based on a project currently being undertaken by him and fellow researchers from The University of Technology Sydney,  investigating the potential of CSP Hybrid plants in Australia.

Aurecon’s Smart Grid Development Manager, Vladimir Finn who is attending the conference said: “The All Energy conference is the perfect platform to feature Amir as one of Aurecon’s industry experts on this topical subject matter.”
