Aurecon will present at upcoming Wind energy NZ 2011 conference

05 April 2011 - Aurecon’s wind experts will be speaking at “Untying the Knots – Realising Wind Energy’s Potential” on 11-13 April at Wellington Town Hall, New Zealand.

This conference is a unique opportunity to explore how wind farm projects can be optimised from design through to development and operation.

Additionally, the creation of economically competitive wind farms will be discussed and changes in policy, regulation and technology will be debated.

Aurecon’s in-house experts will be presenting on a range of specific issues including:

  • Experience with remote wind sensing at New Zealand sites: David Wahl
  • Web-based GIS as a development tool for large-scale wind farms: Adam Miritana and Peter Armstrong
